How UX And CX Differ


What Is UX ?

  • UX is mainly related to digital Interactions like mobiles,websites and tablets and gaming is the main evolvement of UX.
Example:
Taking the example of a ecommerce website like ebay where the user is anyone who access site seeing products so its the user preception here what makes them feel good in scrolling through products but when a user buys a product that's when the UX changes to CX.

  • AIM: Making the product easier and more enjoyable to use.
  • Can include paper and marketing Collaterals
  • It can include desktop software or interactive voice response systems.
  • Within UX  the consultant checks that user or customer is able to accomplish their tasks like selecting and filtering products on ebay without frustration and of-course with ease.

What is CX ?

  • Customer experience is what customer experiences along the entire customer journey.
Example: In case of ecommerce site  explores, Simplify, Buy, Access, Use, Get support, Reengage, and finally leave.

  • It includes phone calling ,email query which can be in-store or online.
  • AIM: To capture areas which are not good according to customer and hence finding the solutions to enhance customer experience.
  • Within CX as whole the cx consultant makes a strategy to fullfill real customer experience.
